Home-grown tomatoes, freshly baked bread and a rare egg or two.
Hens usually go off-the-lay as soon as it starts to become chilly. So, Kerry and Nick secretly hoped the chooks might have had a change of heart seeing we’ve had a run of unseasonably warm weather. But it wasn’t to be. Eggs for breaky are now a treasured moment, knowing the next carton won’t be from the hen house. However, there will be plenty of chocolate eggs to make up for it. Happy Easter everyone.
