A farm without a gate?

April 1, 2012

French-inspired design forged in the D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
A farm wouldn’t be a farm without a gate. You wouldn’t be able to say, ‘Who left the gate open?’ And there’d be no squabbling whose turn it was to get out of the truck. After all, the passenger can’t always open it!
A gate is the front door to every farm and Nick and Kerry are looking forward to having a front door. Nick’s original designs were sketched in France about five years ago. He and Kerry were poking around the French countryside in a beat-up mini, checking out century-old wrought iron gates. And now, after many discussions and deliberations, it’s time to fire up the forge. So, if you’d like a gate for your home, business or farm, we’ll be posting photos as Nick creates The Menagerie’s. In the meantime, take a peek at his blacksmithing folio.
