Fact or fiction? We’re not 100% sure but it’s worked for us. And this natural tonic helps digestion too. So, depending on how serious you are about fending off those evil flu spirits, you can keep adding condiments to this tonic for extra ZING.
Level 1: Boiled water with a slice of lemon.
Level 2: Boiled water, lemon slice and honey.
Level 3: Boiled water, lemon slice, honey and fresh lemon juice.
Level 4: Boiled water, lemon slice, honey, fresh lemon juice and chopped ginger.
Level 5: Boiled water, lemon slice, honey, fresh lemon juice, chopped ginger and apple cider vinegar.
Be warned! The last ingredient in Level 5 Tonic will probably add more ZING-DING-A-LING than you were bargaining for. So, pour slowly. Happy tonic making.
